Phillip and Rhonda are 1988 graduates of Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, OK. Phillip is originally from Hart County, KY, and Rhonda is from Metcalfe County, KY. They were married in 1986 and moved to Tulsa to attend Bible school. In September 1989, they moved to Nashville, TN, to work with the youth at Faith Is The Victory Church. Phillip is the full-time youth minister at FITVC. Rhonda works full-time in the church office with publications and other secretarial responsibilities. They have two children, Susie (age 13) and Phil (age 12). Phillip and Rhonda have been pouring their hearts and lives into teenagers for almost two decades at Faith Is The Victory Church. Their love for teens and the desire to see them walk with God and lead a full, prosperous life continues to be their passion. Their mission in life hangs on a sign right outside the youth room doors... to ENGAGE the thinking of teens, to EQUIP them with God's way of thinking, and to RELEASE them to make disciples of others for Jesus Christ. Praise and worship is also a vital part of the youth ministry at FITVC. We have a wonderful praise and worship team in The Source Youth Ministry. The anointing and presence of God is very tangable as we lead the youth in singing praises to Him. |
